i m quitting counter-currents ...


response to link above -
this could be very good reason for me to quit following counter currents. Neither of the author's arguments make any sense. Only scare mongering doesn't help. If you are putting up an argument against genetic engineering of such nature, better put up good real facts instead of pointing to mythical scripts and follies. I do not disrepute Mahabharata and Ramayana, they are the greatest literature ever written. However, there is no text in it against genetic engineering. How can counter current allow such an irrational article in. Please understand even telescope once was like peeping into god's domain. So unless you have an argument which doesn't say'nope god doesn't want us to peep in to his bathroom' please stop making such remarks ...

bt u kno wot..i kinda agree to his concern to a li'l extent..specially wen he mentions: The way genetic engineering is now becoming an out-of-garage activity, and in many colleges/universities students are involved in various permutation and combinations to move genes across microbes
I mean..i duno nd neither am i thinkin into the implications.bt still,der have to be a regulation.
Bt all sed nd dun,its a bit congratulations for the breakthrough!! Science has to move ahead :) :)

i guess these out-of-garage activities are there because its banned all over places or looked up at with suspicious eyes..
